Job summary

The Recruitment Crowd on behalf of its client in the Tyneside area is seeking several Van Drivers to join the team. Shifts run 08:00 to 08:30 starts across Monday to Sunday, delivering to residential and commercial addresses from a company van.

Role involves 80+ daily stops, loading/unloading parcels, and providing excellent customer service. Temp to perm opportunity with PAYE payment at £12.71 per hour.

Qualifications

• 1 year experience with multi-drop delivery.
• A valid UK driver''s license.
• DBS check or willingness to obtain one.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

The Recruitment Crowd is currently recruiting on behalf of our well-known and industry-leading client based in the Tyneside area. We are looking for several dedicated Van Drivers to join the team.

Hours: Across Monday to Sunday, 08:00am - 08:30am starts

Pay Rate : £12.71 per hour PAYE

Location: Tyneside, NE11

Job Type: Temp to perm

The role:

• Safely and efficiently operate a company van to deliver to customers (residential and commercial)
• 80+ stops per day
• Manually load and unload vehicles with packages.
• Follow established delivery routes and schedules.
• Ensure all parcels are handled with care and delivered in a timely manner.
• Provide exceptional customer service to recipients and senders.
• Complete all required paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.

Requirements:

• A valid UK driver's license.
• have 1 years experience with multi-drop delivery
• Have no more than 6 points on licence (minor offenses only).
• Have a recent DBS check or be willing to obtain one.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Physical ability to manually load and unload vehicles.
• Flexibility to work 5-6 shifts per week, including weekends.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
