Job summary

The Recruitment Crowd is recruiting van drivers on behalf of our client in the Tyneside area. You will operate a company van across 80+ stops per day, loading and unloading parcels and following delivery schedules. Excellent customer service and accuracy with paperwork are essential.

Possible temp-to-perm opportunity with daytime shifts starting around 08:00. DBS check may be required. Pay rate is £12.71 per hour PAYE, based in Tyneside, NE11.

Qualifications

• A valid UK driver's license.
• 1 year experience with multi-drop delivery.
• Have no more than 6 points on licence (minor offenses only).
• Have a recent DBS check or be willing to obtain one.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Physical ability to manually load and unload vehicles.
• Flexibility to work 5-6 shifts per week, including weekends.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operate a company van to deliver to customers (residential and commercial).
• 80+ stops per day
• Manually load and unload vehicles with packages.
• Follow established delivery routes and schedules.
• Ensure all parcels are handled with care and delivered in a timely manner.
• Provide exceptional customer service to recipients and senders.
• Complete all required paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
