Job summary

Team Inc. is seeking an experienced Valve Technician and Supervisor to lead first-line technicians across the UK.

You will perform hands-on valve maintenance at customer sites, inspect and repair valves, and ensure compliance with safety standards while driving revenue through strong customer relationships. The role requires extensive valve knowledge, a full UK driving license, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with travel across the country.

Qualifications

• Extensive valve industry knowledge and practical troubleshooting skills.
• Proven hands-on experience with valve maintenance and repair.
• Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel nationwide.
• Awareness of Health & Safety and QA standards.
• Supervisory experience leading first-line valve technicians.
• Strong communication and teamwork across functions.
• Proficient computer skills including Excel and standard office software.

Responsibilities

• Visit customers nationwide to maintain relationships and identify new development areas.
• Provide technical sales advice and upsell on-site at customer sites.
• Own jobs from enquiry receipt to pricing, PO, and costing; liaise for planning.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Service Line departments.
• Ensure high-quality job delivery and gather customer feedback for improvements.
• Perform hands-on valve technician duties including inspection and repair on-site.
• Dismantle, clean, and reassemble valves to specs; replace faulty components.
• Conduct pressure tests and functional checks to meet standards.
• Diagnose mechanical/hydraulic valve issues and prepare service reports.
