The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance/Business, with 1-2 years in accounting or M&A. CPA is an asset; CBV designation should be pursued. Proficiency in Excel and strong communication are required.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
• CPA designation is an asset.
• Must be willing to pursue CBV designation.
• 1-2 years' experience in accounting or M&A practice.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Solid verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Excel.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Take part in discussions with management of the companies involved.
• Analyze company and industry strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats to assess cash flow risks.
• Participate in modeling used for valuation.
• Draft detailed valuation reports and presentations to management.
• Develop relationships with current and prospective clients.
• Communicate with the valuation Practice Leader about file execution and service area development.
• Understand business development activities to support the practice.
