Job summary

EKFB is seeking a Site Engineer with utilities experience to join our Buckingham-based team on the HS2 project. You will approve permit to works, protect utility assets, review plans, and ensure works align with Breaking Ground Activities and Utility Detection standards.

You will support site teams with compliant, safe delivery and manage setting-out, surveys, and records for materials and subcontractors. Posting involves drafting method statements, risk assessment support, and liaising with

Qualifications

• Experience setting out on civil engineering projects and managing daily site activities.
• Experience with utility construction and coordination with sub-contractors.
• Understanding of overhead and underground utility constraints on multi-utility sites.
• Knowledge of statutory undertakers safety controls and GIS concepts.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Cable avoidance training and safety certifications in accordance with site standards.
• IOSH/EUSR or equivalent safety qualifications and CSCS card.
