Job summary

Harvey Nash invites applications from experienced User Researchers to join a major Government/Public Sector programme. You will conduct qualitative and quantitative studies to inform service design, deliver actionable insights, and collaborate in Agile teams with UX, content and product colleagues.

Active SC clearance is essential and Leeds office attendance is required 1-2 days per month. This role focuses on high-impact digital public services, with a strong emphasis on user-centric outcomes

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a User Researcher delivering research that informs products and services.
• Strong background in Government or Public Sector digital services.
• Active SC Clearance is essential.
• Experience planning and conducting qualitative and/or quantitative research.
• Ability to turn findings into clear, actionable insights.
• Experience working in multidisciplinary Agile teams.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate with UX, Content, Product and Service Design.
• Willingness to attend Leeds office 1-2 days per month.

Responsibilities

We are currently looking for 3 experienced User Researchers to join a leading consultancy working on a major Government / Public Sector programme.

This is an excellent opportunity for User Researchers with a strong background in public sector or government digital services, who are confident delivering research that informs and improves user-centred products and services.
