Job summary

TXP is recruiting an SC-cleared User Researcher to support a Central Government programme in London. The role focuses on planning and delivering user research activities to ground services in evidence-based insights.

This contract requires active SC clearance and is primarily onsite with some flexibility. You will work within Agile, multidisciplinary teams to translate findings into actionable recommendations, engaging stakeholders to shape user-centred service improvements across discovery

Qualifications

• Active SC Clearance.
• Experience as a User Researcher in Central Government or Public Sector.
• Experience working within Agile, multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to translate complex research findings into clear recommendations.
• Familiarity with GDS service standards and user-centred design practices.

SC Cleared User Researcher - Central Government

Contract Length: 4 Months
Location: London
Working Pattern: 2 Days Onsite per Week
Clearance: Active SC Clearance Required
Rate: £525/day (Inside IR35)

Role Overview

We are seeking an SC Cleared User Researcher to support a Central Government programme. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering user research activities, helping teams understand user needs and ensuring services are designed around evidence-based insights.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Active SC Clearance.
• Proven experience as a User Researcher within Central Government or Public Sector environments.
• Experience working within Agile, multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to translate complex research findings into clear recommendations.
• Familiarity with GDS service standards and user-centred design practices.

Desirable

• Experience across Discovery, Alpha or Beta phases of digital services.
• Knowledge of accessibility and inclusive design principles.
