Job summary

TXP is seeking an SC-cleared User Researcher to support a Central Government programme in London. The 4-month contract involves planning and delivering user research activities, ensuring services are designed around evidence-based insights.

You will work in Agile, multidisciplinary teams, engage with users and stakeholders, and produce actionable findings to drive service improvements. Onsite 2 days per week.

Qualifications

• Active SC clearance is required.
• Experience as a User Researcher in Central Government or public sector.
• Experience in Agile, multidisciplinary teams.
• Ability to translate complex findings into clear recommendations.
• Familiar with GDS service standards and user-centred design.

SC Cleared User Researcher - Central Government

Contract Length: 4 Months

Location: London

Working Pattern: 2 Days Onsite per Week

Clearance: Active SC Clearance Required

Rate: £525/day (Inside IR35)

Role Overview

Essential Skills & Experience

• Active SC Clearance.
• Proven experience as a User Researcher within Central Government or Public Sector environments.
• Experience working within Agile, multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to translate complex research findings into clear recommendations.
• Familiarity with GDS service standards and user-centred design practices.

Desirable

• Experience across Discovery, Alpha or Beta phases of digital services.
• Knowledge of accessibility and inclusive design principles.
