Job summary

Octane Recruitment Ltd is helping a busy used car supermarket in Hinckley recruit a Used Car Sales Executive. You will welcome customers, identify needs and guide them through the vehicle buying journey, with uncapped commission on top of a £48k+ OTE.

Hours are 42.5 per week with weekend work (Saturday and Sunday) and two weekdays off; you’ll operate in a high-volume showroom with around 550–600 cars and substantial sales leads, with career progression and ongoing training provided.

Qualifications

• Face-to-face automotive sales experience preferred.
• Strong communication and closing skills.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Willingness to complete FCA accreditation training.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and guide them through the vehicle buying process.
• Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable used vehicles.
• Manage showroom appointments and follow up sales enquiries.
• Arrange test drives and present vehicle features and benefits.
• Introduce finance options and additional products.
• Negotiate sales and achieve monthly vehicle sales targets.
• Deliver excellent customer service from initial enquiry through to handover.
