Job summary

Octane Recruitment Limited in Hinckley is seeking an experienced Used Car Sales Executive to join a high-volume used car showroom. You will greet customers, understand requirements, and guide them through vehicle choices, test drives, and financing options.

Role requires face-to-face automotive sales experience, a full UK driving licence, and the ability to work Saturdays and Sundays with two weekdays off. Competitive base salary with uncapped commission and realistic OTE expectations.

Qualifications

• Previous face-to-face sales experience within automotive or a similar retail environment.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Willingness to complete FCA accreditation training.
• Ability to work every Saturday and Sunday, with 2 days off during the week.
• Strong communication, negotiation and closing skills.
• Professional approach with excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and guide them through the vehicle buying process.
• Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable used vehicles.
• Manage showroom appointments and follow up sales enquiries.
• Arrange test drives and present vehicle features and benefits.
• Introduce finance options and additional products.
• Negotiate sales and achieve monthly vehicle sales targets.
• Deliver excellent customer service from initial enquiry through to handover.
