Job summary

Allen Motor Group in Gravesend is seeking a Used Car Sales Controller for our Ford dealership. You will lead the used-car operation, structure deals, coach the team and maximise profitability while ensuring an exceptional customer experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in automotive sales leadership and managing used-car deals.
• Strong negotiation and deal-structuring skills.
• Proven ability to drive profitability while delivering excellent customer service.
• Understanding FCA compliance and financial products is essential.
• Ability to coach and develop a sales team to hit targets.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales performance and exceed targets for units, profitability and finance penetration.
• Control and structure deals to maximise profitability and compliance.
• Support and develop the sales team with guidance and hands-on coaching.
• Engage with customers, negotiate confidently and convert enquiries to sales.
• Lead part-exchange appraisals and ensure vehicles are valued appropriately.
• Promote finance and insurance products in a compliant manner.
• Deliver an exceptional, professional customer buying journey.
• Maintain standards per Allen Motor Group policies and legislation.
• Keep up-to-date with vehicle specifications and market trends.
