Job summary

Barts Health NHS Trust is seeking a Consultant Radiologist with a subspecialty interest in Genitourinary radiology to join the Imaging Service Group at Whipps Cross Hospital in east London. The post is full-time and supports expanding urology services with involvement in uro-oncology and complex pathways.

Research and teaching are encouraged within the department. The successful candidate should have extensive cross-sectional imaging experience, ultrasound and plain film reporting capabilities,

Qualifications

• MB BS or equivalent and membership of relevant royal college.
• FRCR or equivalent with eligibility for consultant registration.
• CCT (or within 6 months of date of interview) or on specialist register.
• Knowledge of NHS complaints system and incident reporting.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to delivery and development of a high-quality uro-radiology service.
• Provide urointerventional procedures as part of the uroradiology service.
• Work at Whipps Cross University Hospital with cross-site collaboration within the NHS Trust.
• Engage in research and teaching within an academic department.
