Job summary

St Helens and Knowsley Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust is inviting applications for a substantive Consultant Radiologist with a subspecialty interest in Genitourinary radiology. This full‑time post (10 Programmed Activities) offers 8 PA direct clinical care and 2 SPA, based at Southport and Ormskirk with potential cross-site work.

The successful candidate will join an expanding team, participate in MDTs, audits, and teaching, and contribute to service development and governance within the Radiology

Qualifications

• MBBS/MBCHB and FRCR(UK) or equivalent.
• Membership of the Royal College of Radiologists (or equivalent) and GMC specialist register or CCT within six months.
• Overseas trained applicants must have CESR submitted to be eligible.

Responsibilities

• Provide subspecialty GU radiology within a busy department.
• Support MDT meetings and supervise radiology trainees.
• Contribute to audit, clinical governance and departmental research activities.
