Job summary

Mersey and West Lancashire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust invites applications for a substantive Consultant Radiologist with a subspecialty interest in Genitourinary Radiology. The post is a full-time 10 PA substantive appointment based at Southport and Ormskirk, with potential cross-site work.

Applicants should have MBBS/FRCR and GMC registration, and be on the Specialist Register or within six months of CCT. The role includes MDT participation, audit, teaching and research activities.

Qualifications

• Full GMC registration with a Licence to practice.
• FRCR or equivalent specialist radiology qualification.
• UK or equivalent qualifications; must be on specialist register or within six months of CCT.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and manage expanding department workload and MDT input.
• Support extended working patterns and meet waiting-list targets.
• Supervise and train Radiology SpRs and trainees on site.
• Contribute to audit, clinical governance and research activities.
