Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment is urgently seeking enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to support pupils with a range of SEN at a Chester area school. Roles include 1:1 and classroom-based positions, with an immediate start and ongoing opportunities in a specialist educational setting.

Ideal candidates will have SEN/SEND experience, familiarity with autism and related needs, and a passion for helping pupils access learning and develop confidence and social skills.

Tradewind Recruitment are currently looking for multiple enthusiastic and experienced Teaching Assistants to join a specialist school in the Chester area, with an urgent start on Monday 28th September.

We have a number of opportunities available, including both 1:1 and class-based Teaching Assistant positions.

The Role

You will be supporting children and young people with a range of special educational needs and additional needs, helping them to access learning and develop their confidence, independence and social skills.

Depending on the position, you may be:

• Providing 1:1 support to an individual pupil
• Working as part of a classroom support team
• Supporting pupils with additional and complex needs
• Helping pupils engage with lessons and activities
• Supporting emotional, behavioural and social development
• Working closely with teachers and other support staff
• Helping create a safe, positive and inclusive learning environment

What We're Looking For
