Job summary

South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a permanent Urgent Care Practitioner to join the Urgent Care Team. The role may require cross-site working to meet service needs, including NHS UTCs across Tees Valley.

Essential qualifications include RN/paramedic with NMC/HCPC and a Nursing degree or equivalent. Training in advanced clinical practice and teaching may be provided for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse or paramedic with NMC/HCPC.
• Degree in Nursing or Registered Paramedic.
• Clinical Skills Adult and Paediatric; willing to work towards full competency.
• Non-medical prescribing or willingness to attain it.

Responsibilities

• Provide urgent care as part of the Urgent Care Team, with cross-site working if needed.
• Support training roles for suitable candidates.
• Contribute to leadership and quality improvement activities within the Trust.
