Job summary

North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Lead Emergency Practitioner to lead the UTC team at Peterborough City Hospital and the MIU in Stamford/Rutland. You will oversee clinical care at enhanced/advanced levels, coordinate multidisciplinary input, and drive service improvement initiatives while ensuring excellent patient outcomes.

The role requires full-time commitment (37.5 hours/week) across varied shifts and adherence to professional standards, with potential ACP trainee

Qualifications

• Registered with NMC or HCPC and eligible to practice in the UK.
• Advanced clinical assessment skills at level 6 or 7.
• Experience in Minor Injuries/Illness and resuscitation training.
• Portfolio evidence of practice, leadership and teaching.

Responsibilities

• Lead a multidisciplinary team in Urgent Treatment Care and UTC leadership.
• Manage undifferentiated patients within defined scope of practice.
• Provide expert clinical, professional and managerial support to staff.
