Job summary

Whitstable Medical Practice is seeking a UTC Technician or Health Care Assistant to join our Urgent Treatment Centre team. You will work alongside Emergency Practitioners to deliver high-quality patient care within the UTC.

We welcome applications from HCAs or A&E Technicians who are available for full-time hours. Pay is dependent on experience, with ongoing opportunities for professional development and support from a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Experience as Health Care Assistant or in a healthcare environment.
• Phlebotomy training or experience would be advantageous.
• Commitment to ongoing development and demonstrated reliability.

Responsibilities

• Provide and maintain high standard of personalised care under supervision.
• Assist with general duties and clinical tasks as directed by nursing staff.
• Maintain privacy, dignity and confidentiality of patients at all times.
• Assist in moving equipment, mounting and stocking clinical areas, and preparing clinical rooms.
• Undertake duties to support UTC operations and emergency management as required.
