Job summary

Qualifications

• Degree-level qualification or equivalent experience.
• Experience of line managing staff and supervising teams.
• Strong ICT skills including Microsoft Office and NHS systems.
• Experience with data analysis and reporting.
• Knowledge of NHS policies and procedures including Healthroster and RiO.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day line management to admin staff and oversee recruitment, absence management and quality assurance.
• Lead service/process improvement and ensure high-quality administrative support across Urgent and Emergency Care.
• Coordinate training needs and ensure adequate cover and workload planning.
• Support staff development and implement performance management and appraisal processes.
• Maintain effective communication with stakeholders and manage multiple priorities.
