Job summary

Birmingham and Solihull Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust is seeking an experienced Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our leadership teams across Acute Inpatients (North, Central and South localities), Urgent Care or Home Treatment Team. You will provide robust, consistent clinical and operational leadership on our Acute Wards.

You must have a proven track record of being a clinical lead or manager at Band 7 or 8a, with knowledge and interest in quality and governance.

Qualifications

• Experience leading clinical groups and driving service improvements.
• Ability to implement and monitor quality standards across a large Trust.
• Proven track record as a clinical lead or manager at Band 7 or 8a.

Responsibilities

• Contributing to strategic plans within the service and designated acute/urgent care.
• Managing resources, including delegated budget.
• Focusing on quality of the service user experience with clear risk/issues processes.
• Developing and monitoring quality standards with clinical leadership at team/service level.
• Supporting service improvement objectives aligned with Trust priorities.
• Ensuring effective communication with service users, carers and MDT.
