Job summary

URBN UK Limited in London seeks a Junior Business Analyst to bridge our Information Technology Department and brands Anthropologie, Urban Outfitters, and Free People.

You will support senior teams in analyzing business processes, documenting requirements and ensuring that our retail solutions boost efficiency across our global portfolio, with some UK travel required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of Retail Systems – PLM, PIM, ERP, POS, Planning, Allocation, Supply Chain, Marketing, Ecomm, Finance.
• Familiarity with B2B and B2C solutions within retail/wholesale context.
• Fashion retail experience is a bonus.

Responsibilities

• Triage issues and provide initial support for system problems.
• Develop and maintain business process models (as-is & to-be).
• Gather and document clear business requirements from stakeholders.
• Execute QA test plans for system enhancements and large projects.
• Assist in prioritising tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Some UK travel required.

Role Summary

As a Junior Business Analyst at URBN, you will serve as a foundational link between our Information Technology Department and our iconic brands - Anthropologie, Urban Outfitters, and Free People.

You will support senior team members in analyzing business processes, documenting requirements and ensuring that our retail solutions enhance efficiency across our global portfolio.

What You'll Be Doing

• Triage Assistance: Provide initial support for system issues, helping to analyze options and elevate complex problems to internal teams.
• Process Documentation: Help develop and maintain business process models to illustrate "as-is" and "to-be" states.
• Requirements Support: Assist in gathering and documenting clear business requirements from cross-functional stakeholders.
• Quality Assurance: Execute QA test plans for system enhancements and large-scale projects to ensure solutions meet business needs.
• Task Management: Learn to identify essential project tasks and assist in reprioritizing work dynamically in a fast-paced environment.
• Some UK travel required

What You'll Need

• Knowledge and experience of Retail Systems – PLM, PIM, ERP, POS, Planning, Allocation, Supply Chain, Marketing, Ecomm, Finance
• Familiarity with B2B and B2C solutions within a retail or wholesale context
• Fashion retail experience ideal but not essential

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skilks both oral and written
• Strong attention to detail with emphasis on both quality and speed
• Ability to prioritize work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple competing deadlines
