Job summary

Arcadis, a world-leading design and consultancy firm, seeks a career-minded engineer to deliver civil design and urban development work within buildings projects. You will contribute to surface water, foul water drainage, utilities, earthworks and highways interfaces, collaborating with cross-GBA teams.

The role emphasizes producing drawings and BIM models, applying SuDS and related standards, and supporting integrated design across global teams.

Qualifications

Degree qualified with Chartered or Incorporated status.
Experience in design and delivery of civil engineering / urban development activities as part of buildings projects.
Expertise in MicroDrainage/InfoDrainage, AutoCAD Civil 3D and BIM integration.
Knowledge of SuDS, SfA, DMRB and Building Regulations.
Ability to apply engineering principles and use manual calculation methods when needed.

Responsibilities

Undertake civil engineering design for projects, applying Arcadis Health and Safety Principles during planning and delivery.
Produce drawings, BIM models, reports, and specifications.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams across design, environmental and construction disciplines.
Attend project meetings and check the work of other team members to ensure accuracy.
Provide technical guidance to junior engineers, technicians, and apprentices.
