Job summary

Eurocell, a local family-run window and door manufacturer in Swanmore, Hampshire, is seeking an experienced UPVC Fabricator or Supervisor for a full-time role on-site. The position requires manual handling and occasional heavy lifting within a small team environment.

Responsibilities

• Fabricating and producing high quality windows and doors.
• Operate machinery and hand tools and use IT as part of the role.
• Ensure manufactured frames are produced efficiently.
• Adhere to health and safety policies and procedures.
• Maintain high levels of housekeeping at all times.
• Be flexible and perform other tasks within capability as needed.
• Work as part of a team and support other manufacturing areas.

Job description

Salary: Competitive, Depending on Experience.

Location: Swanmore, Hampshire SO32.

Schedule: Monday - Friday 40 hours per Week + Overtime Available.

About The Company

They are a local family run Eurocell window and door manufacturer established in 1989. Now looking to recruit a FULL TIME, Experienced UPVC Fabricator or Supervisor to work from their Swanmore premises.

Please note, they are in an area where there is little, or no public transport, so you will need transport to get there.

About The Role

They are a business investing in way they work. Constantly updating their working practices and investing in new machinery and equipment. You must work well in a small team.

• Fabricating and producing high quality windows and doors
• Operate machinery and hand tools, and use your IT skills as part of the role
• Ensuring manufactured frames are produced in the most efficient manner
• Adhere to strict health and safety policies and procedures
• Maintaining high levels of housekeeping at all times
• Have a flexible approach to work and accept reasonable requests to perform other tasks within your capability
• Work as part of a team and support other manufacturing areas

Candidate Requirements

The company are looking for someone with experience and with the right pro-active attitude, has a desire to work, can multitask and be able to work well in a friendly team. The role will require manual handling skills and some lifting of heavy items at times.

Skills required

• Have a minimum of 2 years' experience in a Window and/or Door Fabrication or similar (transferable skill set) based role
• Own transport to get to the business premises as they are off the beaten track
• Team player with a drive to achieve team objectives
• Strong communication and listening skills
• Be able to prioritise and organise work efficiently and effectively
