Job summary

Amazon UK Services Ltd. is seeking an RME Technician to maintain a wide range of site equipment and ensure safety standards are met across our fulfilment network. You will respond to breakdowns, perform planned maintenance and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Based on-site, you’ll work varied shifts, including nights and weekends, to keep operations running at speed. Prior experience with automated material handling and high‑speed systems is preferred.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics, or a 4‑year UK apprenticeship.
• Flexible schedule including weekends, nights and holidays.
• Experience in engineering and in electrical or mechanical engineering.
• Strong written and spoken English skills.

Responsibilities

• Proactive and preventative maintenance on a wide range of site equipment.
• Carry out reactive repairs and fault diagnosis in a live distribution warehouse.
• Use the latest tools to maximise equipment effectiveness.
• Uphold all health and safety policies and practices.
• Support the development and progression of on-site apprentices.
• Work on continuous improvement projects across EU sites.
