Job summary

Amazon UK Services Ltd. is seeking a Reliability Maintenance Engineering Technician to maintain a broad range of equipment and facilities, while upholding strict health and safety standards. The role focuses on reducing downtime and improving equipment availability across our fulfilment network.

You will work on proactive maintenance, respond to breakdowns, and contribute to safety and process improvements with peers and apprentices on site.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics, or a 4-year UK apprenticeship.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including weekends, nights and holidays.
• Experience in engineering.
• Experience in electrical or mechanical engineering.
• Strong written and spoken English skills.

Responsibilities

• Proactive and preventative maintenance on a wide range of site equipment.
• Carry out reactive repairs and fault diagnosis in a live distribution warehouse.
• Use the latest tools to maximise equipment effectiveness.
• Uphold all health and safety policies and practices.
• Support the development and progression of on-site apprentices.
• Work on continuous improvement projects across EU sites.
