Job summary

Amazon UK Services Ltd. is seeking an RME Technician to maintain a wide range of site equipment and uphold Health and Safety standards. You will perform preventative maintenance, respond to breakdowns, and contribute to continuous improvements at our fulfilment centres.

Based on-site, you’ll work with senior colleagues across EU sites, support on-site apprentices, and help ensure equipment availability and safe operations around the clock. Shift patterns may vary to cover 24/7 operations.

Qualifications

• 4-year UK certified apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 in Mechanical, Electrical or Mechatronics.
• Relevant experience as a qualified engineer.
• Experience working in mechanical and/or electrical maintenance.
• Advanced proficiency in English (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

• Proactive and preventative maintenance on site equipment.
• Carry out reactive repairs and fault diagnosis in a live distribution warehouse.
• Use the latest tools to maximise equipment effectiveness.
• Uphold health and safety policies and practices.
• Support the development and progression of on-site apprentices.
• Work on continuous improvement projects across EU sites.
