Job summary

Amazon UK Services Ltd. seeks an RME Technician to maintain a wide range of equipment and workspaces while upholding Health and Safety practices. The role focuses on preventing downtime and boosting equipment availability in a fast-paced distribution environment.

You will perform planned and reactive maintenance, diagnose faults, and contribute to continuous improvement across EU sites, with on-site shifts to cover operations around the clock.

Qualifications

• Must hold NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in mechanical, electrical or mechatronics.
• Able to work flexible shifts including nights and weekends.
• Demonstrated experience as a qualified engineer in maintenance.
• Background in mechanical and/or electrical maintenance tasks.
• Strong command of English, both spoken and written.

Responsibilities

• Proactive and preventative maintenance on site equipment.
• Reactive repairs and fault diagnosis in a live distribution warehouse.
• Use latest tools to maximise equipment effectiveness.
• Uphold health and safety policies.
• Support on-site apprentices during progression.
• Participate in continuous improvement projects across EU sites.
