Job summary

Amazon is seeking an RME Technician to perform proactive and reactive maintenance across a range of site equipment in our Daventry-based operations. This role focuses on keeping machinery running safely, reducing downtime, and supporting a busy distribution environment.

You will carry out planned maintenance, respond to breakdowns, and work with senior colleagues to implement improvements. A flexible schedule and on-site presence are required to support Amazon's 24/7 operations.

Qualifications

• Engineering experience across mechanical, electrical or mechatronics systems.
• Experience communicating in English, written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Proactive and preventative maintenance on site equipment.
• Carry out reactive repairs and fault diagnosis in a live distribution warehouse.
• Use tools to maximise equipment effectiveness.
• Uphold health and safety policies and practices.
• Support the development and progression of on-site apprentices.
• Work on continuous improvement projects and roll out best practices across EU sites.
