Job summary

Eaton Corporation is seeking UPS Commissioning Engineers to join our UK team, focusing on large UPS systems and hyperscale data centre support. This role involves commissioning, testing, and configuring remote monitoring, with travel across the South of the UK.

The ideal candidate has an Electrical Engineering background, knowledge of UPS systems, and experience with industrial protocols. A dynamic, safety‑driven environment offers growth and technical development.

Qualifications

• HNC or higher in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience with three-phase electrical installation/maintenance.
• UPS systems experience preferred.
• Willingness to work at customer sites across the South of the UK.

Responsibilities

• Commissioning of large UPS systems.
• Create commissioning scripts and perform site acceptance tests.
• Configure remote monitoring software and power quality meters.
• Coordinate with stakeholders on a technical level and follow ECN procedures.
• Apply anti-static policies and procedures.
