Job summary

Eaton Corporation is seeking UPS Commissioning Engineers to support the UK South East region. The role involves commissioning large UPS systems, testing and configuring remote monitoring, and delivering high-quality technical expertise for hyperscale data centre environments.

Candidates should be based in the South of the UK and possess HNC or higher in Electrical and Electronic Engineering, with experience in UPS systems, three-phase installations, and industrial communication protocols.

Qualifications

• Educated to a HNC or higher in Electrical and Electronic Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience with large UPS systems and site commissioning.
• Ability to read commissioning scripts and perform on-site testing.

Responsibilities

• Commissioning of large UPS systems.
• Understand online and line-interactive UPS systems.
• Create and follow commissioning scripts.
• Carry out site acceptance testing on customer sites.
• Use power quality meters.
• Experience in thermography and reporting.
• Battery experience with VRLA and Li-ion.
• Setup and configure remote monitoring software.
