Job description

We are looking for an experienced and skilled Upholsterer to join our busy, established family-run upholstery business in Harrogate.

The successful candidate will be confident working independently to a high standard across a wide variety of furniture, from traditional and antique pieces to modern sofas, chairs and bespoke furniture.

Responsibilities will include stripping furniture, preparation and padding, cutting and fitting fabrics, traditional and modern upholstery techniques, repairs, and completing pieces to an excellent standard ready for our customers.

We work on an extremely varied range of projects, including domestic furniture, bespoke pieces, antiques, commercial interiors, hotels, bars and restaurants, as well as some exciting high-profile projects.

We are looking for someone who takes genuine pride in their workmanship, has excellent attention to detail and enjoys being part of a friendly, hardworking team.

Previous professional upholstery experience is essential.

Part time hours in house.
