Contract Furniture Manufacturing Ltd, based in Wakefield, is looking for an experienced Upholsterer to join their growing upholstery team on a full-time, permanent basis. The role involves upholstering various furniture items, using tools safely, and reaching high-quality standards while adhering to set deadlines.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in furniture upholstery is preferred.
• Strong understanding of cutting, sewing, padding, webbing, fitting, and finishing.
• Ability to use upholstery tools and machinery safely.

Responsibilities

• Upholster various items of furniture from the frame up to finished items.
• Use tools such as staple guns and drills to manufacture a range of furniture.
• Read and follow upholstery specifications and production instructions.
• Repair or re-upholster existing furniture when required.
• Complete work to a high-quality standard while meeting deadlines.
• Work with the production team to achieve the production schedule.
• Observe Health and Safety regulations.
