Job summary

HSL Chairs in Batley is seeking an upholsterer to join our team, delivering high-quality furniture upholstery to meet production targets.

You will work 39 hours per week, with shifts from 6am-4:15pm or 7am-5:15pm on Fridays off, and be supported with training and development in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in upholstery in a fast-paced environment (preferably chairs).
• Provide good quality work to set company standards.

Responsibilities

• Upholster furniture to a high standard.
• Meet agreed production targets.
• Follow Health and Safety procedures as set out in the company’s Health and Safety policy.
• Support overtime when the business requires it with significant notification.
• Maintain good housekeeping around workstations.
• Respond to training on new products as to the demands of the business.

Location: HSL Chairs, Batley, WF17

Salary: £13.00 to £21.00 per hour. (Depending on experience and skillset)

Hours of work: 39 hours per week - Monday to Thursday 6am-4:15pm Shift or 7am-5:15pm Fridays off.

General Duties

• Upholsterer furniture to a high standard.
• Provide good quality work to set company standards.
• To meet agreed company production targets.
• To comply with Health and Safety procedures as set out in the company’s Health and Safety policy.
• To support overtime when the business requires it at busy times after being given significant notification.
• Ensuring good housekeeping is maintained at all times especially around workstations.

Specific Duties
