Job summary

Teaching Personnel are recruiting for an LSA at a SEN school in Wickford to support students 1:1 or in small groups. The role runs 8:30am-3:30pm with sociable hours and no weekends, and offers potential for temp-to-perm progression.

Experience with SEN is not essential if you show passion and commitment to working with children. A valid DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply) is required, and you must be able to use your own initiative.

Teaching Personnel recruit for many schools across Essex who are looking for teaching assistants, support workers, behaviour mentors and Learning Support Assistants.

One of our schools are looking for an LSA (Learning Support Assistant) to help support an SEN school based in Wickford. This school are needing extra staff to help support the children either in a 1:1 setting or small groups.

EXPERIENCE WITHIN A SCHOOL IS NOT NECESSARY AS LONG AS YOU HAVE THE PASSION AND COMMITMENT TO WORK WITH CHILDREN!

About the role:

  • Sociable hours, NO WEEKENDS – 8.30am-3.30pm
  • Provide one-on-one and group support to students with SEN.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
