The University of Kent is seeking reliable housekeeping staff to maintain award-winning accommodation, lecture theatres, conference rooms, and public areas. You will work 20 hours weekly, across Monday to Sunday, with early morning shifts (06:00–10:00) during term time and vacation periods.

Training is provided; you will be part of a supportive team, focused on high standards, customer service, and flexible scheduling in a busy university environment.

Qualifications

• Cleaning experience is not essential; our training and induction plan means you will be provided with all the support you need.
• You will need to take pride in cleaning to a high standard whilst providing excellent customer service.
• You will be a reliable team worker with good communication skills, able to work with minimum supervision and follow specific work schedules.

Responsabilités

• You will play a vital role in ensuring our accommodation, lecture theatres, conference rooms, hospitality outlets, flats, toilets, and public areas are maintained to high standards.
• Areas are used by staff and students during term time and by conference guests and holiday makers in vacation periods.
