Job summary

The University of Kent is seeking reliable housekeeping staff to maintain award-winning accommodation, lecture theatres, conference rooms, and public areas. You will work 20 hours weekly, across Monday to Sunday, with early morning shifts (06:00–10:00) during term time and vacation periods.

Training is provided; you will be part of a supportive team, focused on high standards, customer service, and flexible scheduling in a busy university environment.

Qualifications

• Cleaning experience is not essential; our training and induction plan means you will be provided with all the support you need.
• You will need to take pride in cleaning to a high standard whilst providing excellent customer service.
• You will be a reliable team worker with good communication skills, able to work with minimum supervision and follow specific work schedules.

These areas are used by staff and students during term time and then conference guests and holiday makers in vacation periods.

These roles are Ongoing, 20 hours, Monday - Sunday, 06:00-10:00 working 5 days out of 7.
