Job summary

East Kent Colleges Group is seeking a part-time Housekeeper to maintain the Broadstairs campus. The role runs 12.5 hours per week, 39 weeks per year, with a pro-rata salary of £7,441 per annum (£25,948 FTE). You will clean, operate basic machinery, and help keep the site safe and welcoming for students and staff.

The ideal candidate is reliable, can work unsupervised, and supports safeguarding and health-and-safety practices across the college environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a commercial cleaning environment preferred.
• Commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Ability to work unsupervised.
• Some technology/computer experience would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Work both independently and as part of a team.
• Perform a variety of cleaning tasks, including the use of machinery.
