Job summary

Sofina Foods Europe is seeking a Warehouse Operative to ensure goods are received, stored and moved safely and efficiently across the site. You will join a supportive team and help maintain stock accuracy while assisting production requirements.

The role is on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern, with opportunities to develop warehouse and logistics skills within a leading food manufacturing business. Competitive pay and benefits accompany career progression.

Responsibilities

• Receive and verify inbound deliveries accurately.
• Store stock correctly and rotate stock.
• Operate Reach Truck safely and efficiently.
• Support warehouse movements using mechanical handling equipment.
• Maintain stock control and comply with site requirements.
• Assist in smooth movement of goods within the warehouse.
• Keep areas clean, safe and well organised.
• Follow health and safety procedures and site standards.
• Contribute to efficient operation of the warehouse.

Role Overview

As a Warehouse Operative, you'll play an important role in ensuring goods are received, stored and moved safely and efficiently throughout the site. Working as part of a supportive warehouse team, you'll help maintain stock accuracy, support production requirements and contribute to a safe, organised working environment.

Working a 4 on 4 off shift pattern, this is an excellent opportunity for someone with warehouse experience and mechanical handling skills who is looking to develop their career within a leading food manufacturing business.

Key Duties

• Receive and verify inbound deliveries accurately
• Store stock correctly and maintain effective stock rotation procedures
• Operate Reach Truck equipment safely and efficiently
• Support warehouse movements using mechanical handling equipment
• Maintain accurate stock control and inventory standardsEnsure products are stored in compliance with site requirements
• Support the smooth movement of goods throughout the warehouse operation
• Maintain clean, safe and organised working areas
• Follow all health and safety procedures and site standards
• Contribute to the efficient running of the warehouse and wider operation

Ideal Candidate

• Experienced in a warehouse, logistics or manufacturing environment
• Qualified to operate a Reach Truck
• Committed to maintaining high standards of safety and compliance
• Detail-focused with strong stock accuracy awareness
• Reliable and able to work effectively within a team environment
• Organised and confident managing multiple tasks
• Proactive with a positive approach to problem solving
• Committed to delivering high standards of service and performance

Desirable experience:

• Counterbalance Truck licence
• Full UK driving licence
• Experience operating a range of mechanical handling equipment
