Job summary

Priory Group is seeking a Unit Manager to join the nursing team at Apple Mews in Armagh. You will work within the Senior Nursing Team to ensure high-quality, patient-focused care and support the Service Manager with leadership responsibilities.

The role requires ongoing leadership, clinical supervision experience and strong communication, with a focus on safety and continuous development within a residential and nursing setting.

Qualifications

• Current NMC RGN registration.
• Experience in clinical supervision and leadership.
• Evidence of ongoing professional development and education.
• Change management skills demonstrated in previous roles.

Responsibilities

• As Unit Manager, lead clinical nursing practice and uphold patient- and family-centred care.
• Support the Service Manager with development reviews, risk assessments, audits and nursing indicators data.
• Ensure accurate, patient-centred communication and daily safety huddles among nursing staff.
• Navigate challenging situations professionally to keep patient needs at the centre.
