Job summary

Find Medic is currently recruiting a Unit Nurse Manager for a Manchester-based Nursing Home. You will lead the Nursing and Care team, ensuring high standards of person-centered care and driving staff development within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities include staffing, training, appraisals, audits, and ensuring CQC compliance, medication processes, and policy adherence. This on-site role offers benefits and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Nursing qualification (RGN/RMN) with active NMC PIN.
• Experience leading a nursing team and delivering person-centered care.
• Strong knowledge of CQC regulations.
• Ability to plan and deliver care planning and staff training.

Responsibilities

• Lead, direct and support the Nursing and Care team.
• Manage staff rotas to ensure adequate coverage at all times.
• Recruit and maintain staffing levels; mentor junior staff.
• Ensure mandatory training and conduct staff supervisions and appraisals.
• Ensure compliance with CQC and internal policies; manage medication processes and audits.

Responsibilities of the Unit Nurse Manager within the Nursing Home include:
