Job summary

Exemplar Health Care is seeking a Unit Manager for Wytham Lodge, Burnley. You will lead the unit's nursing team, ensure high quality person-centred care, and drive improvements under the Clinical Nurse Manager's guidance.

The role requires post-registration experience and an NMC PIN, with the opportunity to develop leadership skills in a supportive environment. 42 hours per week on days, with a competitive rate.

Qualifications

• First-level nursing registration with an NMC PIN is required.
• Post-registration and management or supervisory experience is preferred.
• Strong clinical and communication skills with an enthusiastic mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead your unit’s care and nursing teams to meet medical, physical and emotional needs.
• Provide strong leadership to maintain and develop high standards of care and drive improvement.
• Oversee clinical elements and risks, ensuring care plans and risk assessments are updated timely.
• Act as Named Nurse for residents and oversee medication management.
