Job summary

Priory is seeking a Unit Manager to join the nursing team at Apple Mews in Armagh, Northern Ireland. This full-time role (38.5 hours per week) offers a salary of £22.71 per hour and a supportive path into leadership within a multidisciplinary environment.

You will be part of the Senior Nursing Team, assisting the Service Manager, and ensuring high-quality, patient-centred care across the unit. Priory provides extensive development opportunities and a supportive culture.

Qualifications

• Current NMC registration (RGN/RMN or RNLD)
• Experience of clinical supervision and leadership
• Evidence of ongoing development and education
• Change management skills

Responsibilities

• Assist with the clinical management of the unit, maintaining high standards of nursing practice and promoting patient- and family-centred care
• Support the Service Manager in personal development reviews, risk assessments and management, audits and data collection for nursing indicators
• Ensure communication with nurses and healthcare assistants is accurate, patient centred and safety huddles are carried out daily
• Manage challenging situations professionally to keep patient needs as the priority
