Job summary

Southern Communications Limited is seeking a Unified Communications Field Engineer to install and support hosted telephony and IT/datacoms systems. You will work with a team of engineers delivering high levels of technical expertise and customer service to clients.

The role involves surveys, fault management, customer training, and close collaboration with service delivery teams to ensure quality delivery. A valid UK driving license and ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with telecoms/datacoms and IP networking.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities in fast-paced environments.
• Full UK driving license required.

Responsibilities

• Install and support telecoms and IT/datacoms systems.
• Use supplier portals to manage systems and faults.
• Generate, monitor and handle customer requests and fault reports.
• Survey and support technical installation projects.
• Provide liaison and guidance to customers and 3rd party IT professionals.
