Job summary

Spectrum IT Recruitment is seeking a hands-on Infrastructure Engineer to join a busy technical team. You’ll troubleshoot network and VoIP issues, support Linux servers, deploy new customer solutions and keep critical infrastructure running smoothly.

You’ll work closely with customers, telecoms providers and technology partners, using Wireshark to investigate network traffic and diagnose faults. This is a varied, customer-facing role with opportunities to develop expertise across networking,

Qualifications

• Experience in network and SIP/VoIP environments.
• Hands-on Linux server support.
• Strong troubleshooting and customer-facing skills.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

Are you a hands-on Infrastructure Engineer with a passion for networking, telephony and solving complex technical challenges? We're looking for an Infrastructure Engineer to join a busy technical team, supporting business-critical voice, networking and infrastructure. This is a varied, customer-facing role where you'll be troubleshooting network and VoIP issues, supporting Linux servers, deploying new customer solutions and keeping critical infrastructure running smoothly. You'll work closely with customers, telecoms providers and technology partners, using tools such as Wireshark to investigate network traffic, diagnose faults and resolve technical issues.

What we're looking for:

• Strong networking and telephony experience, including SIP/VoIP.
• Hands-on Linux server support and experience using Wireshark.
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and confidence working directly with customers.
• A full UK driving licence.

Desirable:

• Experience working in data centres
• Experience supporting PCI-compliant platforms / environments
