Role requires solid VoIP experience, strong networking skills and confidence speaking with clients. Occasional travel to customer sites and a full UK driving licence are essential.

***HOSTED VoIP TELECOMS ENGINEER***

We're on the hunt for a personable, technically minded Hosted VoIP Engineer to join a growing technology business and become a key point of contact for customers needing support with their telephony systems.

If you're confident troubleshooting VoIP issues, enjoy talking to customers and like the idea of a role that combines technical know-how with a healthy dose of human interaction, this could be right up your street!

Salary - £29,000 - £40,000 (depending on experience)

The Role

Working predominantly from the office, you'll support customers with your hosted VoIP systems, handling inbound calls, resolving technical queries and guiding users through their telephony issues.

You'll be part of a friendly, customer-focused technical team, with occasional visits to customer sites when required therefore a full UK driving licence is essential.

Key responsibilities for the Hosted VoIP Telecoms Engineer include,

• Providing technical support for hosted VoIP and telephony systems
• Handling customer calls and enquiries with confidence and professionalism
• Troubleshooting connectivity and networking issues
• Diagnosing and resolving telephony faults
• Supporting customers remotely and occasionally on-site
• Working collaboratively with colleagues to deliver a great customer experience

What We're Looking For

Essential experience:

• Previous experience working with Hosted VoIP systems is a must-have
• Solid networking fundamentals
• Confidence speaking directly with customers and handling technical queries
• A willingness to travel to customer sites when required
• A full UK driving licence

Desirable experience:

• 3CX (preferable)
• Yeastar (preferable)
• Bicom Systems
• Other hosted VoIP platforms
• Wireshark and packet-level troubleshooting
• SIP, codecs and wider telecoms knowledge
