Job summary

DUAL Corporate Risks Limited is seeking an Underwriting Technician to provide accurate underwriting administration and responsive broker support across Personal Lines products. You will process policy transactions, maintain records, and apply underwriting procedures within delegated authority.

The role contributes to strong broker service, compliant customer outcomes and efficient delivery, escalating matters outside authority when needed. Requires attention to detail and PLC insurance knowledge.

Qualifications

• Experience in Personal Lines insurance and underwriting support.
• Good understanding of insurance terminology and policy lifecycle.
• High attention to detail and ability to work accurately at pace.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with brokers.
• Ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Process policy transactions and maintain high-quality records.
• Support brokers by telephone, email and approved channels.
• Apply underwriting guidelines and delegated authority.
• Identify and escalate anomalies or risk issues.
• Maintain data quality and comply with FCA requirements.
