Job summary

Howden Group Holdings is seeking an Underwriting Technician to support brokers, underwriters and internal teams. You will process policy transactions, maintain high-quality records and apply underwriting procedures within delegated authority.

The role focuses on Motor Personal Lines and Agricultural Fleet, with emphasis on accuracy, timely delivery and strong broker relationships in a busy personal lines environment.

Qualifications

• Essential experience in Motor Personal Lines insurance and Agricultural Fleet.
• Underwriting support, broking, policy administration or a comparable regulated service environment.
• Good understanding of insurance terminology and the policy lifecycle.
• High attention to detail and ability to work at pace.
• Strong communication with brokers and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Policy administration and processing with accuracy and within service levels.
• Process new business, renewals, mid-term adjustments, endorsements and documentation.
• Maintain clear records across insurance and workflow systems.
