Marsh's Victor MGA in Cambridge is offering an Apprentice Underwriting Assistant role that blends hands-on underwriting with risk assessment and policy management. You will learn from experienced underwriters and contribute to client-facing documentation, renewals, and endorsements.

This apprenticeship focuses on practical skills, data entry, policy records, and collaboration with clients, brokers, and colleagues.

Formación

• 5 GCSEs at grades 9-4 (incl. English & Maths).
• Right to Work in the UK (no visa sponsorship provided).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Ability to work both independently and in a team.

Responsabilidades

• Assist underwriters with evaluating insurance applications and assessing risk.
• Gather, review, and analyze information to support underwriting decisions.
• Help prepare underwriting documentation, including policy proposals, endorsements, and renewal notices.
• Complete data entry accurately and efficiently in underwriting systems.
• Maintain accurate records of policies, endorsements and claims.
• Communicate with clients, brokers and stakeholders to clarify application details.
• Carry out research on market trends and developments.
• Support continuous improvement within the underwriting team.
