Job summary

You will gain insight into underwriting decisions, regulatory requirements, and client interactions while developing technical and professional skills through training sessions and real business exposure.

Qualifications

• GCSEs including English and Maths; willingness to learn about insurance.
• Right to Work in the UK (no visa sponsorship).
• Interest in the insurance industry and a proactive mindset.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Good attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
• Ability to organise workload and work both independently and in a team.
• Proactive approach to development and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Assist underwriters with evaluating applications and assessing risk.
• Gather and review information to support underwriting decisions.
• Prepare underwriting documentation and renewal notices.
• Enter data accurately in underwriting systems and maintain records.
• Support policy documentation, endorsements, and claims records.
• Participate in training sessions and development activities.
• Collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders to process applications.
