An established industry player is seeking a motivated individual to join their Financial Lines team. This role involves underwriting various liability insurances, including Directors and Officers Liability and Commercial Crime. The successful candidate will engage with key stakeholders, negotiate with brokers, and contribute to business growth across the Midlands and South of England. Working as part of a team, the successful candidate will be required to grow our Management Liability book in this region, negotiate with our key broker partners, meet with clients face-to-face, and develop our regional offering across the Midlands &/or South of England.
A bit about the job:
You will join the Midlands & South Financial Lines team, working under a Global Corporate and Specialty (GCS) underwriting license. The successful individual will underwrite Management Liability, Directors and Officers Liability, Pension Trustees Liability, and Commercial Crime insurances. Responsibilities include underwriting renewals and new business in line with GCS & Mid-Market strategies. Confidence in communicating with internal and external collaborators to achieve business objectives is essential.
Strong communication skills and time management are important for this role. This position is suitable for a motivated and professional individual eager to advance their career within a market-leading insurer.
